Best. Pop-Up. Ever. (SOLO)

Skully sat quietly in her room. It was early in the morning, she had pulled another all-nighter. She was sitting in a big computer chair in front of a desk. On the desk sat many strange knick-nacks, stuffed animals, a soda can, one of her cats... And right in front of her was her lap top, with a mouse plugged into the side. She was searching for some fake vampire teeth and fake blood for a prank she was planning on her friend the coming Halloween... When a pop-up flashed up on the screen. She moved the cruiser to close the window. But the X button was grayed out, so as she tried she couldn't leave. "Maybe I should have gotten that Pop-Up protection..." she murmured, frustrated. Since the little window would not be closing anytime soon, she decided she might as well read it. It looked a bit more like an e-mail than a Pop-Up, with all the words...

She read, Hello! Are you bored with life? Is nothing exciting? Not to worry any longer! After reading that, Skully quickly decided that it was nothing... Until she continued reading. Evangeline Nightingale! You have been chosen! Chosen for something great! Skully suddenly gasped. How would a Pop-Up know her name? Half her friends thought her real name was Kitty, another one of her nick-names. The other half didn't even know she had another nick-name, they were fine with Skully. This couldn't be a prank, right? The only other person it could be... Well a teacher or her parents wouldn't do it... Now she wanted to know what else it said! She continued reading once more. Now! It's quite easy to step foot on the path of greatness, and to fill the void of emptiness you feel! Just click this button! Beside the last words was a small red circle, when she ran the mouse over it the little pointing hand appeared. So she could click it...

Skully was feeling a little uncomfortable. Was this where the prank would end? Was this really a prank. It was at that moment she noticed, that since she put her cruiser on the red button... The X on the Pop-up had become red again. She could click out now. She sat for a while. If this was a prank, she could just click the Pop-up away now and get whom ever had set this up with a prank of her own. But... If it wasn't... She was so very curious about what this thing was. After a few minutes of mulling it over, she decided it was best she click it. Was there a risk? Maybe. Probably only another Pop-Up saying HA HA SKULLY! I pranked the unprankable! and the name of whom ever had done it. But for some reason, it seemed worth it to her. So, finally, she reached out her right hand, then with her pointer finger she clicked the left mouse button. Suddenly her screen lit up! The light flashing right in Skully's face. She jumped, surprised. "AHH!" She shouted, holding her hands up to shield her eyes. (Random light flashing in your eyes hurts, don'tcha know? XD) The cat sitting on the desk puffed up and hissed, frightened. Then jumped and ran out of her room, through a kitty door on Skully's door.

Suddenly, the light subsided. Skully blinked, slowly putting her hands down and staring at her computer. Well, staring at what had appeard in front of her computer. A little white and green rabbity thing. Next to it, a strange little device. It was black and green, and looked as if it was one of those virtual pet toys... Skully blinked, as the little rabbit spoke up. It spoke in a small rather timid little girls voice. "Hello. My name is Terriermon. Since you're most likely confused, I will explain. I am a digimon. A creature that comes from the digital world. Which is a place that is made of data. The machine next to me is called a digivice. It's a very useful device for tamers. Which is what you are. Yes... You are a tamer, and I am your digimon partner. I'm supposed to protect you. Um... Do you have any questions." She finished with the question, looking a bit embarrassed about babbling on like that. Skully sat for a moment in silence. Then she suddenly moved forward, grabbing Terriermon in a hug. "OH MY GOSH! YOUR ARE SO SO CUTE! OH GOODNESS YOU ARE JUST TOO CUTE! I LOVE THE WAY YOU TALK AND YOUR CUTE EARS AND OMIGOSH OMIGOSH OMIGOSH!" Skully screeched hyperly. Terriermon blushed. "Th- thats nice and all but, uh! Please, don't hug me! It's kind've embarrassing and, uh! Please, um, stop it? I, um..." Terriermon muttered quickly and anxiously.

After a bit Skully sat back down, Terriermon sighing in relief. "So... You Terriermon right? My name is Evangeline! Please call me Skully though! This is so cool! You're a digimon? You come from the digital world? That is so so cool! Ya know, I thought that Pop-up was a practical joke but I'm SO glad I clicked it any way! This is totally great! Exciting! Oh so exciting!" As Skully rambled on, Terriermon couldn't get a word in. But finally, when Skully stopped talking... The little digimon spoke again. "Ehem... So, uh, Evangeline... You understand right?" Skully was a bit irratated Terriermon called her Evangeline, but she responded. "Yes! I'm a tamer... Your my digimon partner... Blah blah blah..." With a nervous grin, Terriermon nodded. "Alright then! Come on!" Skully commanded, jumping up, pushing the chair away and picking Terriermon up. Terriermon struggled out of her grasp and jumped to the chair that had rolled behind Skully. "Wait! Where are we even going!" she asked a bit louder than before, and rather anxiously. Skully smiled. "I don't know! I'm just so excited now! Let's just go somewhere!" she answered hyperly, waving her arms all around and grinning. Terriermon sighed. "Well, okay..." She said quietly, before jumping unto Skully's right shoulder. "Now... Let's go, I guess." she commented nervously. "YAY!" Skully roared, running out of the room. Terriermon hanging onto her shoulder for dear life.



(The end! YAY! My first post! A solo post, but... A POST! HAZAH! Any way, I thought I would put how Skully and Terriermon met. I love Terriermon! So glad I got Terriermon! So cute, espeacially with the shy and timid personality! I hope people like this post! If your wondering, 1034 words. :3 Pretty long... But it is a solo post. And is the topic title fitting or what? BEST. POP-UP. EVER. That would be one kewlio pop-up, huh? X3 Any way, I like how I have developed both characters even in just one post. I look forward to soon role playing with other people too! XD)
