Jeido Katisu
Name: Jeido Katisu
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Jeido is exactly 6 feet tall and he weighs only 140 pounds. His skin is white yet somewhat pale-ish. His features are more “American” than his families Japanese and Chinese would like to admit. Jeido has crimson colored eyes which are covered by oval glasses, which he doesn’t actually need at all, he just thinks they make him look cooler. His figure is a lanky one, slim and tall, to put it simply, despite this he is fairly strong. His hair is considered long (it falls to his shoulder blades) for the most part it is straight, but it curls upward as it nears the end.
Jeido’s ‘standard’ attire can border on gothic, though it’s more a matter of opinion. His standard attire consists of a black/red shirt that has a collar which covers most of his neck, a black/purple jacket with the collar up (with the collar up you can see that the inside color of the jacket is red) and dark blue colored jeans. So simply put, dark colors. It doesn’t matter if it’s autumn, winter, spring, or even summer, his clothing style has no change from its dark colors. He doesn’t like not wear a jacket (but he prefers it to be his black/purple one) because he claims that he’ll freeze to death without it. His glasses are more for show than actual use; he has no need for them at all.
Items: The only thing that he keeps with him at all times is an Ox Chinese Zodiac necklace which he keeps in his jacket pocket (read history).

Personality: At first, Jeido is rather enigmatic. He is sarcastic and witty, sometimes even to the point of cruelty. Jeido has a snide, sarcastic response to even the most serious subjects, and loves to tease his friends. Due to his monotone voice it is hard to tell when he is serious or just kidding about some things. Jeido’s sarcastic and harsh words are often well-founded, despite what it may seem like he saying, he is trying to lift a person spirits. Other than amusement, Jeido rarely shows any sign of his emotions. When a sore spot in his past is hit, his emotions will betray him and he will release his emotions, though it’s normally no more than anger…
Whenever Jeido's feelings betray his calm and collected mask, he quickly distances himself from other people. If another asks what is wrong after something like this occurs, he will quickly put on a small smile and act like nothing had occurred. Because he is very adept at masking his deepest thoughts and feelings, Jeido is often able to see through others when they try to hide things. He always seems to be several steps ahead of other people, almost never seeming surprised.
Strengths: Jeido has the intelligence to back up all of monologues on any subject that he talks about. Jeido is fairly confident, he won’t make a second guess on anything, sometimes it may seem like it’s a horrible choice, but it always has ended up as the right choice in the end so far.
Weaknesses: Jeido physical strength is somewhat lacking. He is fairly quiet, well unless he’s explaining something. He doesn’t seem to really fear anything, but that is actually what he fears most (it makes him feel like he isn’t a normal person).
Extra
History: Jeido Katisu’s family has quite a long history in both Japan and China, so his family is somewhat split between the two. As history moved on the Katisu’s came into America, it was 5 generations later, which Jeido Katisu was born in America, with an American mother and American/Japanese father. Jeido’s father had died of a heart disease when he was young. This had caused him to become distant and he focused more on his studies. He sealed his emotions so that he wouldn’t be hurt by the thought of losing someone or something important.
Through his years of isolating himself, his mother became mentally unstable. Jeido never noticed, let alone cared about this. Jeido was more into his studies, so he didn’t care too much about his mother. His mother lashed out at Jeido, claiming that she would kill him if he didn’t learn to care about others. The reason for his death seemed more like a rather idiotic reason to kill. Knowing that she was lying, Jeido didn’t bother to change anything about himself. But one day soon after this, his mother really did seem to have the intent to kill, Jeido didn’t bother to head back home for the next week. Jeido had learned how much better off he was living with his mother, even if she was slightly mentally unstable, than living nowhere.
When he had come back home, there was a FOR SALE sign staked into the front yard. Jeido, confused about this, headed into the house. It was completely empty. There was only a single thing in the entire house, a letter. It was placed on the door of where his room used to be. The letter said: I don’t want an ungrateful son. If you come back here, I’ll be long gone. The letter was clearly written by his mother, most likely a few days ago.
That’s all that was on the piece of paper, well other than a coffee ring stain near the bottom of the paper. But years ago when his father died, he had met many of his other family members, quite a few lived in the United States. The nearest was his Uncle, only a town away. Jeido has been living with his uncle ever sense he was 14. \
When the digimon came, that was a frightening moment, but it was something for Jeido to learn about. So in the mist of all the chaos, Jeido had found a Digiegg in an alley near his uncle’s home. While studying this digital egg it had hatched, and in the eggs place was a Koromon. Once the digigates had all closed, Jeido had thought that the Koromon had left along with other digimon. However it didn’t. The thought of this made Jeido realize that like humans, no two were exactly alike.
Around the time that Jeido was 16; his Uncle had found the Koromon. His uncle was upset about Jeido lying to him about not knowing anything about the digimon, but he did understand why Jeido kept it a secret. 2 short months after Jeido’s uncle discovering Koromon, it evolved into an Agumon X instead of a normal Agumon. Once Koromon had digivolved (though Jeido prefers to say evolved instead) Agumon X began to say words that were actually understandable. Agumon X and Jeido had become friends quickly.
Once Jeido was 17 a Phantomon had appeared, wanting to test the strength of a human/digimon relationship. Jeido knew that winning against a higher level digimon would be very hard. That didn’t seem to stop Agumon X though. Jeido knew that he couldn’t leave Agumon X fight alone, so Jeido joined the fight. Before Phantomon had thrown an attack Jeido had a D-Link digivice in his hand. Not even knowing how to use it, he had somehow activated it and Agumon X evolved into GeoGraymon. After a short yet fierce battle GeoGraymon had won the fight.
Jeido continues to study Agumon X, trying to find out as much about the X-antibody as he can. Jeido also trains Agumon X (which now he has named Honoo, which is Japanese for fire) in case another digimon finds a way into the human world.
RP Sample: Jeido has a look of confused and intrigued on his face. He had just found out that once a digimon had been defeated it is reborn… recreated… whatever word you wanted to use, the Phantomon had transformed into a Digiegg after its defeat. “I thought that it would turn into a raw form of data, not back into a Digiegg.” Jeido said amazed at this. “Well, I supposed that you probably couldn’t have known anyway, it was out first battle.” Honoo says as he is once again in his normal Agumon X form.
“Hmm. We need to hide the Digiegg, if a person gets their hands on it, it will have bad results.” Jeido said. “Wouldn’t that depend on the person though?” Honoo asked. “It’s a variable that has been accounted for, we must hide the egg, and if a person finds it… the results will be the same as I said before.” Jeido replied. Jeido picked up the Digiegg and began walking off. “Honoo, let’s go, I know a good place to hide the egg.” Jeido told Honoo. “Oh, right!” Honoo said beginning to catch up with Jeido. Soon the two were at the park, Jeido, despite his lack in strength, climbed up a tree and place the Digiegg between two branches. “What if it hatches? Won’t it fall?” Honoo asks. “Yes, but if I’m right, and I know that I am, then it should hatch within the rainy season, so it will land in a tall patch of grass. Nobody bothers to cut the grass until the season is over anyway. The grass will cushion the fall. If the digimon falls to the ground at all that is.” Jeido says confident in his placement of the egg.
“Oh, yes, Honoo, how exactly did you go from GeoGraymon back to your normal form?” Jeido asks curiously. “Well… I only thought about going back into my normal form, and then I just did… I guess…” Honoo answers not entirely sure himself. “It’s just something more to study. After all, there’s still basically everything about the digital world that I don’t know about.” Jeido says now heading off to his Uncles home. “Yeah, there is still a lot to be learned.” Honoo says agreeing with Jeido.

Re: Jeido Katisu
Great application, except for one issue: We are not allowing people to Digivolve into champion right away. First they have to use only their Rookie/In-Training/Fresh Digimon for one thread.
I suppose I can allow you to leave your history and RP sample the way they are, but if I do, you will not be allowed to Digivolve to champion again until you have gotten through at least one thread that is a minimum of two full pages long, (thirty posts) which is the requirement for everyone.
If you do not want to change your history and wish to do things the way I described above, then you can consider yourself approved.

Re: Jeido Katisu
It's no big deal. It's an easy mistake to make. I suspect it'll be something that happens many times in the future.
Before you start a thread, though, you'll need to create a Digimon in the appropriate section. It's just below this character creation section.
In any case, you can consider yourself...
APPROVED.
