For an alternate life [open]
chug chug chug...
A steady rhythmn drifted into Pia's mind as she stirred from her sleep. Then came a loud whistle which was more than enough to jerk her awake. The Tokomon looked around in panic before realizing that it was merely Trailmon, whom she us inside, signalling that they've arrived at the next station.
Cautiously, she stepped off into the platforms. So this was Hub city, where 'humans' appeared and Digimons interacted. Hopefully, she could find herself a nice partner too... but that's most unlikely; they'll probably get tired of her attitude or something.
Even so, the excitement of visiting a new place filled her mind; the polished floors, the solid walls... everything was different from her home, the Net Ocean. Now, Digimons would think she was lying if she said that, for which crazy Tokomon would attempt to live in the middle of the ocean? with a bitter smile at the thought, she trudged on.
An Ogremon was supervising the passengers. And boy, Pia had never seen this many beings in one place! so many varieties of Digimons along with a few humans... but surely, they're all already partnered with some lucky people.
So in the end, the little Tokomon just walked around on her stubby legs aimlessly, being careful of tall Digimons and humans from stepping on her.

Re: For an alternate life [open]
David and Agumon stepped out of a Trailmon. Then they both turned back around and gave it a short bow.
“Thank you for the ride,” they said simultaneously.
“No problem!” the Trailmon replied, somewhat surprised, but gratified, by their appreciation.
David and Agumon then set off together, moving through the crowds with only a little trouble.
“Wow! What an amazing place!” David commented, looking around. This was the first time he had been to this place. Agumon, on the other hand, was less impressed.
“I’ve been here a million times,” he said airily. “I rode one of the Trailmons to get to the human world.”
“And of course then you ran into this poor sap and have been freeloading off of him ever since,” David muttered. “Lucky me.”
“Well, yeah,” Agumon said, smirking. “But you needed some excitement in your life.”
